tell us the things that we want to hear the least,
but probably just the thing we needed to hear,
and deep down we know they are true,
no matter how much we don't want to admit it.
and probably the worst part about it is,
we know we have to accept them, not just because
they came from who they did, but because it's
something we have to learn or convince ourselves
before anything else can happen.
for the record, i hate unknowns.
