the next best thing

so. i unpleasantly found out tonight that
anonymous was only waiting on
the next best thing.
and it appears he has found it.
today was such a good day,
why did i have to find out tonight?!
i'm inclined to believe i am more mature than that,
so i am not going to let it ruin my good mood.

BUT

can i please have permission to be angry?
just for a day or two?
then i'll get over him, i promise.
