zip a dee doo dah!

oh man.  today was just a funny day.  observe:

1. bus ride to school:  driver gets on the intercom and says, "i have good news and bad news.  the good news is it isn't monday!  the bad news is it's tuesday and you have to go to class.  have a great day."  i have honestly come to love riding the bus.  you never know what to expect.

2. work: trying to figure out the new computer system... not too bad, but slightly funny how many problems we were having...

3. after work: literally running across campus to be on time to ballroom class... slipping on ice...

4. ballroom class: (favorite!) it's so entertaining to me to compare how good or bad different boys are at leading and dancing.  haaa.  my new friend jason and i were having loads of fun today (he's really really good at leading!  love it!)

5. tai chi.  funniest class ever.  my thighs KILL from it, but today we were doing this pose and i swear we looked like zombies then dead birds, i couldn't help but giggle.  travis and i had a blast in there today.  best choice class ever.

6. walking to the library i came upon, get this, 5 chinese people at one parking meter trying to figure out how it worked.  i shouldn't have laughed, but the dad was yelling at the kids who were all simultaneously trying to put coins into the slots and hitting each other while the mom held screaming baby and pulled at the husband to let them figure it out.  i love chinese.  seriously.  so much.

7. art class: learning i have to do my art project (that took me 3 hours) all over again because i did it wrong.  oh.  not funny.

8. getting an e-mail from julia.  she spells things so funny!  i love it.  such as, "did you watch american idle?!"

9. walking to the library again: this girl i know named tammy was walking ahead of me.  she has the most bubbly personality of anyone i've ever met and walks with this darling little bounce in her step.  she was saying "good afternoon" and "why hello!" to EVERYONE she saw.  it made me giggle and completely made my day.  why can't more people be so friendly.

10.  watching tammy: reminded me of the other night in choir when dr. jessop said, "dance with me" like he usually does, to get us into the music more... and tammy stands up in the aisle and starts full on dancing, which she was terrible at, i might add... we all got a good laugh and it turned into a small dance party for a minute... with a bunch of 50+ year olds.  choir is the highlight of my week.

11. tatum told me i've been talking in my sleep a lot.  the other night i sat up and said something like, "announcing sara sue, aka sara!  that's it." then i laughed at myself (which i also periodically do in my sleep, wa ha ha, and went back to sleep.  and this story has nothing to do with today, but i just thought of it.  ha ha ha.

12. ringa ringa - by a.r. rahman - new favorite song.

13. coming out of the parking garage after institute, emily and i were having problems with the machine... then the guys in front of us decided not to pay and drove up really close to the bar so when we paid they would go through... so she made me get out and put coins in, which it wouldn't take for like 10 minutes, then she sped away under the arm thing that almost totaled her car.  institute.  good times.  
here's to a chuckling sort of day!  the kind where you can't open your mouth without a song jumping right out of it!
