coughing for 2 weeks.

too bad i have to leave all my best friends and
go back to school tomorrow.
maybe all my roommates will catch
this ghastly cough.  hah

yesterday katie and i went to cabana!
i hadn't been since august.  it was lovely.
then we went to this crazy restaurant called
the wing coop.  my tongue doesn't have
much spice tolerance.  it was hot,
and i got the least spiciest wings.
they definitely love the spice up there.
love the restaurant, but there are some real
sketchy people that work there.  he he.
katie is great. and has a secret i can't
wait to tell people when it is official :)

julia and i made a movie last night.
and ran some errands.  have i ever said how much
i absolutely love running errands?  that's definitely
a mom thing to say.  but honestly.  i love it.

then whitney ward and i discussed something i'm
completely excited about for the coming semester,
i realized my dear friend emily is coming back to
school this semester, and my other dear friend
emily started a photo blog that i already love.
monday was the greatest day even though
i'm going through annie withdrawals.

today i convinced my mom to go to walmart,
which she doesn't enjoy.  that was entertaining.
then we went to franklin covey where i won
the bet that they would remember us from coming
in 2 weeks ago.  what a great business.

today i also had a grand adventure with allie.
first we waited for david in the draper temple
forEVER but it was gorgeous so it was ok :)
then we dined at my new favorite restaurant,
zupas!  there were lots of fine men there and a
delicious chocolate covered strawberry.  definitely
a charming restaurant and made me want to go to
lunaberry, which i told allie would be our next feat.

anyway. then we traveled all over the city in search
of her textbooks.  i got a complete tour of 3 of the
slcc campuses.  they were a lot nicer than i thought.
and i guess i never realized how big slcc has gotten.
and much more modern than what i'm used to at usu.
but, that's one thing i absolutely adore about usu.
the old buildings are so authentic, and when
i look at them i know there is so much history
behind them.  pioneer history.  modern history.
all kinds of history.  sorry guys, but usu is
the best school out there!  allie is great.

when i got home, my friend jake had added me on fb.
i didn't realize he was home from his mission.
this alone could've easily made my day.

tonight, parker and laci took me to 500 days of summer.
it was sad.  but i didn't cry.  but i liked it because
it was a lot more like real life than any chick flick
i've seen in a lon... actually, ever!  it definitely held my
attention, and i truly ached for the poor boy.  do guys
really get wrapped up in relationships like that?
parker also taught us what a real avatar means,
and i realized joyce has one.  so does dwight.

the music choices in the movie were excellent.

also, the fire alarm went off during the movie.
everyone looked around, then didn't move.
so we sat there with it ringing for 5 minutes.
a few old people got up.  it stopped soon.
pretty funny.  good thing it wasn't a real fire.

it's been a good week and it's only tuesday.

salt lake, you are good to me.  i will miss thee.
